Encouragement in a time of Pandemic
Despite the misfortunes we may be experiencing specially during these times of Pandemic, it is in our human nature to seek for words of encouragement and wisdom. Many times we wake up and feel overwhelmed and anxious. God wants us to live our lives to the fullest filled with joy and purpose.
We have to understand that everything happens for a reason; in a sense we are living God’s purpose and everything in our lives happens according to his purpose however; our actions also matter. We can choose to do things that makes us happy or unhappy, things that make someone else happy and this may all be part of our life’s purpose. In someway it is all a mystery that we can’t fully comprehend but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
It is easy to be bitter, anybody can be negative and blame God for all the adversities that we are faced with but understand that God is not going to deliver us from all the difficulties and challenges because that is what helps us grow, it makes us and our faith be stronger. The Bible says “Our faith is tried in the fire of affliction.”
For those times where things get difficult, the Bible can lift your spirits, it can give you guidance and strength.
Here are some Bible verses to help lift up your spirits and help you find strength while you cope with life challenges.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” John 14:1
“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
“May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13
Due to the Pandemic, many of us face fear and anxiety, let God be a source that provides us with words of faith, hope and strength.
