Important Lessons the Bible Teaches Us
We can find peace and love messages in so many Bible verses. But, what does this really mean? Is that just God telling us he loves us? The more we read the Bible, the more we realized that God's love is His will for me and for you to be one with him, and it's up to each of us individually to learn what His will is. The Bible teaches us that Jesus came to teach love. He preached peace, joy, and happiness. Everyone seeks happiness, and most likely, in fact, I am sure that everyone has happiness deep inside their hearts; however, life's circumstances may drive people to bury it deep inside and not let it show.
God has plans for everyone to receive His promises in their lifetime and to live happily and in peace and harmony with each other, just like Jesus taught us. But we have to be prepared to accept those promises.
Another aspect that is involved when we are searching for happiness, peace, and love is forgiveness. Forgiveness is essential when we're looking to be happy. It is such an essential concept in God's character; many people mistake it for weakness. However, the opposite is true. God wants us to forgive each other. People make mistakes, and in order to move on and be at peace with ourselves and please God, we must forgive. It'll be one step in the right direction and will get you closer to finding happiness.
I encourage you to read Bible verses about love, peace, and happiness; after all, God is love, and he has plans for everyone to be happy. If you find yourself struggling to find peace or finding the courage to forgive, turn to God, for he will lead you to a place of peace and happiness no matter what issues you may be facing in your life.Â
It is my desire to show you that even though there are issues in your life that you don't feel comfortable dealing with, God has plans for you and those around you. Jesus Christ set the example for forgiveness and taught us how to forgive those who have wronged us. We need to ask for forgiveness from someone else, and God will provide the peace and comfort that we need.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. - Galatians 5:22-23
The Bible offers us several great tools to use to enter into God's presence. The Word of wisdom teaches us to read today's scriptures with an open mind. It doesn't matter what the verse is about, what’s important is to read the word of God, learn from it and put in practice its teachings.
