Not Everyone Can See Beauty
Is beauty defined by the color of your skin or your eyes or by your body shape? We all have different perspective on what beauty is. There is beauty in everything but not everyone sees it, some may be able to see beauty in others but not their own. It really depends on your emotional state of mind, attitude and disposition. Each one of us is capable of seeing beauty but not in the same way. What you may see as beautiful it may not be as beautiful in someone else’s eyes. Hence the phrase everything has beauty but not everyone can see it.Â
With that said, physical beauty isn’t everything, it internal beauty that matters the most. This may be such a cliche but we can’t deny it is true.Â
We can find beauty all around us, beauty can be a positive thought, seeing the good side of things even in the worse situations. Beauty is a kind heart and acceptance of ourselves and others as they are. Finding beauty on things that are already beautiful is easy like a sunset or flower but being able to transform a negative situation into something good or beautiful is sometimes difficult. However, beauty is already part of everyone of us, beauty is within us; all the qualities that makes us who we are. Beauty is not materialistic and it’s not about being perfect; it’s about being comfortable in our own skin and it’s about compassion and love.
Accept yourself with all your flaws, be kind and don’t let society dictate or give you a false idea of what true beauty is. If you want to experience beauty, start by being kind to yourself and everyone around you, transform a bad situation into a positive one and try to find beauty in every moment of your life. And remember that physical beauty doesn’t last forever but a great character will always be remembered.Â
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. 1 Peter 3:3-4
