Paul's Prayer
1 Thessalonians was written by Paul. It was written to a group of people that had been Christians for a short period of time. Paul wanted to give them hope and encourage them to continue to be faithful. Timothy delivered the message to the Thessalonians and came back to Paul with good news. The members of the church remained strong in their faith and continue to be faithful to Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13
Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
