Psalm 56:3

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Being afraid is a normal feeling when we encounter dangerous, challenging or scary situations; we have all been there at one point in our lives. Every new day presents some challenges; for many it can be just being able to get out of bed, for others it might be getting through an important meeting or being able to provide for their family. The fact is that it doesn't matter what it is, every moment of every day we are presented with some difficulty and it's in those moments that we need to reach deep down and see that we are not alone. There is nothing that can bring us down if we put our trust in God. Trusting God with all our heart is evidence of our faith and it's what makes us strong, faith will not make things easier but it will make them possible, our faith will helps us get through the problems we face day to day. When we truly let go of all fears and place them in His hands, we experience a sense of internal peace because we know that it doesn’t matter how difficult our situation is, He will not let us fall. He is perfect in all his ways and no matter what the outcome is, know that is His will and He always wants what is best for us, even though we may not see it that way sometimes. Trust in the Lord because He is our everlasting rock. His will, His purpose. 

Dear God, I come to you today to surrender all my fears and tribulations to you. I pray for your your Spirit to fall on me and deliver me from everything that troubles me. Please forgive me for the times I ever doubted you and wanted to give up. I place my trust in your unfailing love and hope that in your time, you will restore my peace according to your will. Lord, please strengthen my faith and remind me that only You can set me free. In Jesus’ name Amen
