Prayer for Strength and Wisdom

Lord, on days when I feel weak, when I am filled with fears, be my sustaining strength. I think of the times I've had to care for a loved one, or navigate a difficult conversation at work - it's in those moments I'm reminded that I need you to help me get to where I need to go. I recall a particularly tough morning when my kid was running late for school, and I was already stressed about an upcoming project deadline - in the chaos, I had to take a deep breath and ask for your calm. I've also been in situations where I had to make tough decisions, like choosing between two job offers, and I had to trust that you would guide me towards the right path. Please walk beside me, help me to not get discouraged. Give me strength and wisdom to face what may come before me today. Like the Psalmist, I cry out to you, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth" (). Help me overcome any anxieties that may be crushing me. Comfort my heart and give me strength to keep going. In your love and Holy Spirit I pray. Amen.
