Father's Day Prayer

As we get ready to celebrate Father’s Day with all kinds of gifts to trying to show our appreciation for all the things they do. Let’s take a moment to pray for all the fathers in the world. For those who have taken upon them the responsibility of parenting, for the step dads and those who have not been blessed with the privilege of being biological fathers but still love and care for their children as if they were their own. For all the men that help our children shape their character so they can become great men and women of faith and integrity. For the Dads we have lost and the ones grieving for loss. Let’s celebrate this day with a prayer from the heart. 

Dear God, today we pray for all the fathers of the world. We ask for your blessings and guidance so they continue to be positive influences and good role models to their children. Give them strength and patience to face any tribulations they may be presented with. Lord, we ask you to guide them in their daily work and let them know you are with them. We also pray for those who are no longer with us but will live forever in our hearts. Bless all fathers on this day, give them love, compassion and peace so in your strength and grace may they always stay. In Jesus’ name, Amen
